Jugend debattiert or in English Youth debates is a German-language debate competition that started in Germany and is meant for high schoolers. Behind each debate is its own preparation and the story of each debater's unique experience. Even when the finals of debates are archived, the debaters' own experiences and impressions are often forgotten. Being one of the debaters of the Jugend debattiert finals week of Mittel-, Ost- und Südosteuropa (Central-, East and Southeast Europe) in 2021, I think that the impressions and opinions of the debaters should also be recorded.

The purpose of this website is to map the experiences and impressions of former participants of Jugend debattiert in Mittel-, Ost- und Südosteuropa. Due to the international nature of the competition, all articles have been translated into Estonian, German and English.

The website has been developed as development research for a school project.
